Tolip Taba Resort And Spa ★★★★★

The food was so delicious, clean and good. The pool bar was good, the staff there is good. Especially Mohammad Attef.

The location maybe, there is no malls or thing there

Breakfast was nice, quiet place, comfortable bed.

The wifi did not work in the room (they said it would get fixed and did not), the safe in the room did not work, the beach did not really have (actual) sand, the taxis in front of the hotel asked for outrageous amounts of money for a 5 min drive), even though you pay 14 USD per person for dinner (or about 465 Egyptian) you need to pay an extra 2 USD for hot water - for tea or coffee - and/or to get a cup of coca cola (It is only hot water, come on!).

Staff was fantastic. Very kind and helpful! In particular the dinning room staff and its manager and also a lovely guy from cleaning and maintenance called Ahmed who was always so nice and helpful

Not really all-inclusive, Food is terrible, There is no "late breakfast" (i.e. only old and dry cookies), No food is served after 09:59.

The hotel is located 15 minutes drive from the Egypt-Israel border. Completely secluded resort with no shops or restaurants within walking distance at all. The rooms are very large and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful and communications was not a problem. The pool was large, and the beach was nearby with lovely corals for snorkeling.

The toilets in the rooms should be refurbished. The kitchen is the main problem in this hotel. Many potentially great dishes were simply not good. The meat was usually dry, or undercooked and hard. There were almost no fresh vegetables, and nothing to put on the salad (not even olive oil). At breakfast, the omelettes were possibly the best part as they were prepared at an omelette station, but there was a chronically long wait because there is only one person manning the station. SImilarly the toaster was slow and required you to toast the bread 3-4 times and so you could wait over 30 minutes until you got toast. A better toaster, or a second toaster, would be a great improvement. This was espcially bad when, on the third day I got a temperature and bad stomach and had to eat almost only toast at breakfast. Most people in our group of 13 had some sort of stomach problems during this visit, so obviously, hygiene should be improved (or maybe it has to do with the water?)

The resort is beautiful, the rooms are amazingly big and clean. Some of the staff are friendly and the Spa center is a must (lovely staff there). The pool is big too and there is a bar in the middle which is very nice. The private beach was nice.

The restaurant food wasn’t that good, only the chef stand was decent. They don’t have a variety of options and every day was pretty much the same. Some of the facilities needs fixing like some of the elevators and the tennis curt which I really wanted to try, but didn’t worked. Some of the staff treat us rudely and even charged us more then needed because we don’t really familiar with the local lira, we understood that after a nice employee was nice enough to tell us the real price of the cocktails. The entertainment team, or animation like they call it, put over and over again the same songs at the pool which was funny but sometimes a bit annoying. The reception crew were not pleasant and didn’t gave us the right attitude.

Location is close to Taba crossing. Private beach and big pool. Staff from reception upgraded us to a better room with a better view. That's it.

It is far from 4-star experience and I'm not mentioning 5-star experience: 1. Staff: – Some of the staff stops speaking English when it is not comfortable or beneficial to them. – Some of the staff are rude by default. – You have to argue with reception/bar to get your "free" or "all-inclusive" drinks or food. – There are some errors on Booking.com in the description of facilities and services that are free for the customers. – We tried to cancel with booking.com and staff at reception don't read emails :) 2. Food: – Most of the food is really bad cooked or of a bad quality. – The "juice" is a mix of cheapest juice that is mixed 50/50 with water – Coffee is undrinkable. – The variety of food is good only over the weekend when most of the clientele are there. – Mini-bar is a bottle of water. – No snacks at the bar. Only pizza (when they feel like they need to do it). – With all-inclusive option you have to pay for the ice cream at the bar – $2. 3. Resort: – You have a lot of different companies and merchants that are trying to sell you tours/massages on the beach, in the pool or before lunch. – Pool/Table tennis and tennis are available for additional cost (at the booking.com description it is described as included) – No public activities and animation (you'll have a small party for kids at 10pm in Arabic while their parents will be sitting and smoking shisha's. That is it.) – Visitors are smoking everywhere. Even if it is prohibited (like in the hotel lobby for example). – Nobody manages or controls the cleaning around the beach (you can find cigarette stubs and plastics all over the sand and in the water) So, don't take all-inclusive there, because it is non-inclusive. If you don't have a change and have to stay there – take half-board and expect for 3-star experience.

First of all, the manager was kind enough to provide us with a room with a better view (from mountain view to the sea one). Big thanks for that! -as for the food: it was very tasty and we could get a variety every time (we spent 5 days and all the dinners were different). -as for the environment: the hotel had a sea access, which is very nice. Pools were a bit overcrowded (which is understandable) but clean every day. They have cool sitting areas around it. -the stuff: everyone is helpful and welcoming.

-as for food: not enough fruits (not even a watermelon at dinners) as for a hotel that claims 5 stars. -as for the environment: not much green at the territory, music times are too long (loud untill night time) -special dislike goes to the internet. Even the "paid one" was pretty bad.

• The room is big, clean with a wide balcony. Beautiful red mountains red sea view. • Nice and friendly stuff in the lobby bar, in particular a handsome guy called hammada and waleed. The pool guys and the room service guys are nice and good also. • Big and Clean pool, comfortable Pool beds and chairs. • Clean beach, just relax! The red sea is amazing! • SIX POINTS IS ENOUGH IN MY OPINION!

• The hotel is far from Israel border And the center, 15 min in taxi ride, *** for every direction (Expensive!). • There was no activities for the the hotel guests, not at day and not at night. • Some of the stuff are not welcoming, rude, and racists. • The safe box in the room was open/broken,at the first and second days, we asked the stuff/receptionists to send someone to fix it, after a-lot of calls, they sent 2 mens, they didn’t know how to fix it! So we always carried the passports and the money with us. • The breakfast was not fresh and not varied. • Some of the receptionists was nervous. • SIX POINTS IS ENOUGH IN MY OPINION!

The food was really bad, my whole family got food poisoning, the hygiene was really bad, i paid for room wifi but it didn't reach my room and i had to go sit in the lobby to connect to my room's wifi, the floor tiles all around the hotel are broken and my daughter hurt her foot while walking because of it, there were spiders and cockroaches all around the buffet, the staff never did their job except if they got tipped to do it, the utensils in the buffet were always dirty and there weren't any cups except small cheap plastic cups and the drinking water they used was actually tap water, they played very loud music near the rooms until 1am and we couldn't sleep, the bed sheets were always dirty and the pillows smelled nasty, the bathrooms had really bad plumbing and everything was leaking and drains were always clogged, the electricity was frequently cut so we had to sit without electricity and water, my wife's sunglasses were stolen in the buffet and the security refused to check the cameras and they said it's not something valuable and not worth opening the cameras for (the sunglasses were cartier worth 9000 L.E)..... I had a very bad experience and i will never repeat it again in any Tolip hotel.

- All restaurants on 2nd floor were closed whole week. Very disappointing, we wanted to have dinner in restaurants every evening in different. But they all were closed. - Main restaurant is good, but we got poison on our last night there. - Staff very unhelpful, except one guy on reception - Spa isnt good. Wet sauna doesnt work properly. Time limit for jacuzi and sauna.

it has been the second time for me in this hotel, it has a beach, pools, excellent animation team that works for all along the day. the staff service are very pleasent and welcome, and doing their best for the guest.

1. what i didint like from the room service is that they are asking alot for tips, money, money,money,money ... every step you move they are asking for money. and they could tell you how much do they want !! and they can say " its not enough " if they dont like it. TIP is a cash you put from your own and if you want and how much do you want, and not a thing you MUST or have a rules on. 2. while we were resting at the room, we were surprised to see one of the room service man inside the room without knocking on the door.

All the meals at the restaurant was very good and you have several varieties to choose from. The room was good large and new. Most of the rooms have a sea view even though which face the mountain. The chech in and out was fast, and the reception men was so helpful.

There is no any activites on the beach ( Nothing), The animation team exsist only on the pool. There is even no music at the beach. Also the beach bar man was rude. And the snakes was so litle and have no variety at all just Pizza.

The room we stayed in was really dusty and the bed was dirty, had to ask them to change it. The food was really bad. All the waiters/bartenders are rude to you until u tip them. The only good thing about the hotel is the beautiful beach.

Don't exspect a 5 star hotel. It does not come to this standard for me. But if you compare the rates you pay, it is ok
